What is a collograph print? Collographs are created by cutting a design into a plate and then artistically inked. Ink pools in the carved areas creating dark marks, and the artist may choose highlights and shadows that may appear on the surface of the plate. While the design may be printed multiple times, due to the printing process each print is unique.
Blooms of Peace is a depiction of the cherry blossom trees that were in bloom in Washington D.C. when my family and I vacationed there one Spring. It was such a beautiful moment that I couldn't help but recreate it. This print is available in paynes gray (bluish tint) or sepia tone and is matted to either a 10x13 or 9x12. Watercolored options are not matted and come in a plastic, protective sleeve.
Due to the printing process your print may look slightly different than the photograph depicted on the website. Colors of the ink or mat may also vary depending on your viewing device. Prints are created in sets. When ordering, you will receive the next order in the set if applicable.
