Collograph Print with black ink matted to 11x14in.
What is a collograph print? Collographs are created by cutting a design into a plate and then artistically inked. Ink pools in the carved areas creating dark marks, and the artist may choose highlights and shadows that may appear on the surface of the plate. While the design may be printed multiple times, due to the printing process each print is unique.
This particular print is a redention of a famous Lexington landmark, The Parkette. It is matted and ready to be framed in an 11x14in frame.
